Salary: £13,468 - £14,577 per annum, Grade 4 (SCP 5-9)
Hours: 30 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (term time only)
Contract: Temporary until 31st December 2021 (in the first instance).

The Governing body of Croeserw Primary School seek to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably qualified Administration Officer to run the busy school office. The successful candidate will be the first point of call for anyone contacting or visiting the school. Excellent people skills are essential, as well as a professional manner.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently and be able to adapt to a wide range of tasks from finance, record keeping, payroll returns, dinner money, Local and Welsh Government returns and producing newsletters to name but a few. Experience of this kind of role, or of working in a school will be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
You will need to be adaptable and flexible and enjoy a challenge.
At minimum, the successful candidate must:
• Be flexible and able to do a range of duties;
• Be resilient when faced with challenging situations;
• Have excellent communication skills;
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team;
• Be confidential and compassionate;
• Be able to multi task and prioritise workload.
• Have excellent IT skills

The start date for this position is the 7th December 2020, there will be a 2 week handover period from the current Admin Officer as part of your initial training. Hours of work will be 8.30am to 3.15pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
You will have as a minimum 4 GSCEs, including English and Maths at Grade C or above, or have an equivalent qualification/and or experience.
