Contracted Hours: 20 hours per week, 8.30 – 12.30 daily
Salary: £9,265 - £10,028 per annum (pro rata) (39 weeks/term time only)
Information on post:
The Governing body of Coed Hirwaun Primary School seek to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably qualified Administration Officer to run the busy school office. Excellent people skills are essential, as well as a professional manner.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently and be able to adapt to a wide range of tasks. Experience of this kind of role, or of working in a school will be an advantage, but is not essential.
At minimum, the successful candidate must:
• Be flexible and able to do a range of duties;
• Have excellent communication skills;
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team;
• Be confidential and caring;
• Be able to multi task and prioritise workload;
• Have excellent IT skills.
A knowledge of the following IT packages would be advantageous:

The start date for this position is the 7th June 2021 and there will be a 1 week handover period from the current Administration Officer as part of the initial training. Hours of work will be 8.30am to 12.30 pm five days a week.
The post requires: a minimum 4 GSCEs, including English and Maths at Grade C or above, or have an equivalent qualification/and or experience
Welsh language skills are not essential.
