Administration Officer: English & Maths - City of Newport Campus
Coleg Gwent are seeking to appoint a proactive and conscientious Administration Officer to join our department of English and Maths.
We are looking for an administrator who is passionate about their work and can use their initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and data bases. Someone who can show evidence of visible impact on providing good customer service to learners and staff.
It is imperative that you have the ability to work as part of a team support, good work ethic and not afraid of a challenge.
The ideal candidate will be a strong IT skills with good standard of education with substantial experience of working as an administrator in the public or private sector. You will have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to think operationally with excellent customer service skills. You will be someone who has high expectations of themselves and others, with the clear potential to progress further in the future. You will be someone thoroughly committed to making a difference to learners’ lives.

The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
