Bishop Gilpin, an outstanding two form entry Church of England primary school, is looking to appoint a personable, highly motivated and professional Administrative & Attendance Officer to join our enthusiastic and dedicated staff from January 2021. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be exceptionally organised and confident to deal with the demands of working in a busy school office. The candidate will act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents, pupils and staff and must demonstrate a professional yet approachable manner.
- General school administration
- Managing school communications effectively
- Monitoring, investigating and reporting on school attendance
- Updating and managing the school data management system
Previous experience of SIMS and working in a school office would be an advantage.
The hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm (35 hours a week), Monday - Friday, term time only (39 weeks a year).
The full time equivalent for the role is dependent upon experience from ME6 Sp. 7 (£22,995) - ME6 Sp. 10 (£24,258). Actual salary when pro rata for the weeks worked, this is a salary range of £19,825 - £20,913.
