“All Stars” Out of School Club is an out of school provision, run by the Olympus Academy Trust and provides after school care for children within the Trust.
Our Out of School Club Assistants are crucial to our continued expansion and as such we are looking to appoint an After School Club Assistant to join our team at Charborough Road Primary School. This post is offered on a part time, permanent basis, working 12.5 hours per week, (Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 5.30pm) on a term time only basis. The salary for this role is £5,091 per annum.
The successful applicant will be able to make use of the club provision for their own children for FREE during normal contractual hours. This is a fantastic benefit that is only available to employees of the Out of School Club provision.
Although based primarily at Charborough Road Primary, the successful applicant may be required to work at any of the five primary schools to respond to the needs of the club.
Under direction of the Out of School Club Manager, general duties include:
•Setting up interesting activities
•Helping with the organisation of breakfast.
•Supervision and care of children attending the club.
•Setting up and packing away of club activities and resources.
You will need to be a proactive, enthusiastic, reliable and caring team member and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to establish good working relationships with children, parents and other Out of School Club Assistants.
The successful applicants will:
•Have excellent standards of literacy and numeracy.
•Be able to take direction from the OOSC Manager in the delivery of high quality creative play in a safe and caring environment
•Provide play opportunities and activities in a homely, nurturing and safe environment with regard to the individual development needs of the children
