Working Pattern: Part Time/Term Time Hours: 12.5 hours per week.
Our established and popular after school club is seeking to recruit a level 3 qualified Assistant to assist our After School Club Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to come and join our friendly, dedicated and hardworking team as an assistant working in the after school childcare provision known as ‘Fun Club’.
The successful candidate will be committed to supporting the manager in providing a safe, stimulating environment for our pupils during our extended hour’s provision, have high expectations of themselves and our pupils, and work effectively in a team. Children are at the heart of everything we do in Venerable Edward Morgan and this extends to our wraparound care facilities. You will undertake all aspects of care and support for the children and will also support staff to plan and carry out all activities in order to create and develop a stimulating and safe environment for the children to develop their potential. You will fulfil legal and statutory requirements, contribute to and implement policies and procedures.
This is a part-time position initially contracted for 12.5 hours per week.
The role will include:
Working within an established team to deliver high quality childcare throughout the setting
Ensuring that each child’s wellbeing is met and they thrive in a safe environment
Engaging the children in suitable play activities
Essential role requirements:
Level 3 qualification, appropriate to the post
Previous experience of working with children
Venerable Edward Morgan Catholic Primary places the highest priority to safeguarding children and the successful candidate will be subjected to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory reference checks.
