Orchard Mead Academy is one of three secondary schools in the Trust and firmly on a journey to transformation.
We are looking to appoint a teaching colleague to provide outstanding alternative provision for our SEND students. You will develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to provide lasting, meaningful and positive outcomes for children who are currently unable to access mainstream education for some or all of the time. Your work will involve leading our Hub provision and will be teaching small nurture groups of approximately 10-15 at any one time. You will be passionate about enabling students who may otherwise be disengaged from school to learn and develop and to have the resilience and determination require to identify progress.
We are particularly interested in applications from colleagues who can provide high quality teaching in English and/or Maths and / or Year 6 experience but welcome applications from all specialisms.

- behaviour systems and detentions are centralised
- professional learning is built into the school day with teams working across Trust schools
The successful candidate will teach throughout the age range 11-16.
