Richmond and Hillcroft Adult and Community College (RHACC) is a Specialist Designated Institution for Adult Learning, providing a varied course offer to support the lifelong learning goals of adults.
We deliver courses to meet the needs, interests and abilities of adults, as well as a vibrant events calendar featuring concerts, drama, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and fairs throughout the year. With daytime, evening, weekend and residential courses across two main campuses and in outreach venues, RHACC is able to meet a broad range of needs, and creates pathways to work and well-being.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, customer-focused and efficient Technical Support Manager to lead the team of specialist arts technicians.
The post-holder will lead and manage the planning and implementation of efficient and effective technical support across Art and Design, Performing Arts and Community Learning programmes. The position is full time and will involve flexible working, including some Saturdays.
This exciting new post will manage curriculum support in visual art, music, drama, dance, cookery and exercise.
The successful candidate is likely to be a specialist in a particular arts area, with a good working knowledge of other areas. He or she will possess the skills to manage a team and to effectively plan the deployment of specialist support.
The superb purpose-built facilities include two large painting and drawing studios, a ceramics room with gas-fired kiln, a glass workshop, fully equipped textiles room, woodwork studio, print room with Columbian press, theatre with tiered seating, music recording studio and two dance studios.
Relevant certified training, such as IOSH and COSHH, would be an advantage.
