As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for a part time Assessor for Childcare working 18.5 hours per week.

Details of the role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for liaising with employers and young people to organise vocational work placements, organising, monitoring, assessing and evaluating students' performance in the vocational setting in accordance with the principles of assessment of the Sector Skills Council, including assessing the suitability and safety of students work placements
You will have Training Assessment and Quality Assurance Award (TAQA), D32/D33 or A1 Assessor Awards with TAQA update and a minimum level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Childcare.
Experience and sound up to date knowledge of vocational learning and assessment in real work environments, auditable experience and current knowledge of assessment issues, auditable experience and competency in relevant occupational field and experience of facilitating and assessing student learning.
Interviews will be held on 22nd January 2020 at our Medway Campus in Gillingham.
