To Assist our Catering Manager in our In-House Catering Provision
Actual pro rata salary £12,576.80
31 hours per week (approximately 38.6 weeks per annum)
(as well as cover for training days and school events, open evenings, hospitality etc)
We have an excellent opportunity for a capable cook to work with a supportive and ambitious team led by the Head Chef. In return you will enjoy the benefits of excellent working hours and holidays. Full support and training will be given by our experienced Catering Advisors – School Catering Support using the established brand Relish! – highly regarded by The Children’s Food Trust.
We have approximately 470 pupils on role at the school provide all daily food services, including breakfast club, a breaktime snack and a quality, healthy lunch. We take great pride in the food choices we offer to our children through our exciting and diverse bespoke menus.
This exciting position will require you to prepare and serve healthy meals, working closely with the catering manager and school staff to maintain and increase the uptake of school meals.
