Position – Assistant Creative Co-ordinator
Hours – 35 hours per week term time, 40 hours during school holidays.
Timetable – Weekdays only. Term time 9.30 – 13.00, 15.00 – 18.00, Holidays 9.30 – 16.30.
Salary – £15,000 - £19,000

Shine is the region’s leading provider of sports coaching and child care activities for primary school children. What we require – a qualified, motivated, enthusiastic individual to deliver creative activities to children of primary school age. Top applicants will have extensive experience of working with children, have a friendly nature and be able to demonstrate real creative flair.
Candidates will be able use their own creative initiative to deliver after school sessions that follows a set programme involving a range of activities such as cooking, basic pottery, junk modelling and sketch & paint. Candidates must be able to work individually and will be managed by the creative coordinator.
During holiday periods, the successful applicant will be able to deliver a fun, safe and organised creative programme incorporating all the of the games and activities mentioned above at one of our many settings across the region.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, a well-presented appearance and an organised disposition. The job holder will be required to deal with children, parents and teachers so will be expected to represent the organisation positively and professionally at all times.
