We are looking for a talented and suitably experienced leader to join us as an Assistant Head.
The Bishop of Llandaff is an 11-18 co-educational Church-in-Wales High School. Located in the heart of Llandaff, the school is heavily oversubscribed and students attend from all over the city and in the surrounding authorities. Standards at the school are very high. In 2019, our students achieved oustanding GCSE and A level results in the reformed qualifications, key performance measures and new specifications. However, the school is more than just about examination outcomes. Students take part in a broad range of activities that help them become "well-rounded" and our strong Christian ethos helps shape our students to become positive role models in our society. It genuinely is a happy place to learn and work!
The role has become available as the current post-holder is returning home to Cornwall at the end of the year. We are looking for someone who is suitably experienced and talented to help sustain excellence across the school. As a result, the role would suit an existing school leader who is looking for a fresh challenge in a new context or a talented middle leader who is looking for their first senior leadership role.
Please download our application pack for more details. For an informal and confidential conversation please contact Marc Belli, Executive Headteacher at the school. Also, we welcome potential applicants to come and see us in action. We are open to visitors every day!
*Salary equivalent to the maximum point within the L13-17 scale.
Closing date for applications: 4th February 2020 at 12 noon.
