The successful candidate will have a maturity of judgement that is likely to have come from significant experience in middle management, and will have shown considerable commitment to the co-curricular life of the school. Experience of working on whole-school initiatives will also be an advantage and applicants should refer to this in their letters of application.
The Assistant Head Co-Curricular will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will meet weekly with the Head/Senior Deputy Head as well as attending SLT meetings. As part of his/her role, s/he will work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues from across the Loughborough Schools Foundation. The successful candidate will teach in the region of 0.5 of a full timetable, although the appointment will be made without reference to the subject specialism of the candidate.
