Badbury Park Primary School moved into a state-of-the art new building in November 2020. Our new free school is part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust, a family of primary schools based in Swindon who are increasing in size and offer excellent CPD and career opportunities
We are passionate about outdoor learning and have wonderful green spaces to bring the curriculum alive. Our school is a vibrant, friendly place where the children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in teaching skills, sharing knowledge and building special memories that children will take with them through the rest of their lives.
At Badbury Park Primary School, we have engaged, happy learners in beautiful, authentic learning spaces with carefully chosen versatile resources that provoke creativity, curiosity and concentration. Using natural resources offers our children the opportunity to experience nature first hand and become connected to the natural world, through play. Outdoor learning, play and Forest school is at the heart of our curriculum.

We are looking for a leader who:
- is an excellent teacher who enjoys outdoor learning
- has knowledge of Inclusion and strategies for engaging all learners
- has experience of working in a setting with high levels of SEND
- has previously taught in KS1 and KS2
- is passionate, creative and approachable with a caring nature
- is flexible and ready for the challenge of working in a new school
- is able to work well with parents, carers and outside agencies
