Malmesbury School is a highly successful school that offers unparalleled support and opportunities to staff who wish to develop their skills and leadership. The school is well situated just north of the M4 (J17), within easy travelling distance of Bristol, Bath, and Swindon and just on the edge of the Cotswolds.
In March 2015 we established the Athelstan Multi Academy Trust which consists of four secondary schools (Malmesbury School, Bradon Forest School, The Dean Academy and Sir William Romney), two in North Wiltshire and two in Gloucestershire. The Trust offers further career development opportunities for colleagues to work across more than one school in a supportive environment.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of effective school leadership and a determination to secure the best outcomes for students of all abilities. Please complete the Trust application form and write a letter of application of no more than two sides to Mr Rupert Moreton, Headteacher, detailing why your skills and experience make you a suitable candidate for this role. If you wish to visit the school or discuss the role further please contact Ruth MacQuaide Headteacher's PA. Specific responsibilities will be agreed with the successful candidate following their appointment.
The closing date for applications is noon on 8th March 2021 with interviews taking place in the week beginning 15th March 2021.
