Do you want the opportunity to be part of a unique team to set up a brand new school?
Are you passionate about developing a curriculum that supports all children to do the best learning possible and develop their character to become well rounded citizens?
We have begun an exciting journey, by opening our new school this year with Reception and Nursery children. We will expand to become a two-form entry primary school, in the beautiful growing Tadpole Garden Village.
William Morris Primary School is a friendly, happy place where children are known and cared for. Teachers and pupils treat each other with respect and kindness which allows children to be challenged and stretched, helping them to persevere and achieve their potential. Our curriculum is creative and enables children to explore in different ways – using hands on experiences and interesting stimuli. We believe in innovative teaching that engages pupils’ interests and inspires a love of learning. Our life skills curriculum will run alongside the national curriculum to ensure children are taught personal development and become confident, caring and are ready for the next stage of their education.
The new school building is spacious and purpose built, including a large hall, cookery room and library area. All our classrooms are bright and vibrant, installed with new equipment and resources, and have direct access to outdoor learning areas. Our school site also incorporates an attractive field and pond area which will be utilised for learning, PE and sports.
Our new free school is part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust, based in Swindon who are increasing in size and offer excellent CPD and career opportunities.
William Morris has a growing staff team – we are a happy group and very supportive of one another. Everyone works hard to give the best education possible to the children.
This exciting leadership position role will be class based for 3 days a week, with 2 days leadership time. There is the possibility of the role developing further as the school grows.
