The Governing Body wish to appoint an exceptionally talented individual to the position of Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for the safeguarding and pastoral areas of the school. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic Senior Team and support the Headteacher in leading the school into its next phase. It is an exciting time to join Abbeyfield as the school continues to grow, both in reputation and numbers, with an Ofsted rating of good in all areas and Outstanding for Leadership and Management.
You will need to have a minimum of three years of middle leadership experience, with evidence of success in leadership, management and your own teaching. You will need to share our vision that all students will succeed regardless of background. We are looking for a strong and inspiring communicator who is passionate about working with students and supporting them to develop in all aspects of school life.
