Associate Adviser for Religious Education/ Religion, Values and Ethics and Support for SACRE
0.6 FTE 1-year secondment or temporary contract to commence Sept. 2021.

The Central South Consortium (CSC), serving the five Local Authorities of Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and Vale of Glamorgan, is working in partnership to deliver ambitious arrangements for school improvement through the Central South Wales Challenge. Collectively with our schools, we are determined that all children and young people, in every school, will experience the best possible conditions in which to realise their potential and that we close the gap between the most disadvantaged pupils and their peers.
We are seeking a professional with a secure knowledge and understanding of the role of Religious Education (RE) in schools to lead the strategic development, professional learning and support related to RE and Religion, Values and Ethics (RVE) at CSC. Also, to work throughout the region to provide strategic support for the five local authority Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education (SACRE).
