21 hours per week (over three days), term time only
Plus an additional 21 hours to be worked
across the year as required
Working within the hours of 8.00am – 3.30pm (less ½ hour break)
(There is some flexibility around which days are worked)
Success Academy Trust requires an Attendance Officer to join its central support team. The successful candidate will be based at Thomas Estley in Broughton Astley, but also work across the Success Academy Trust schools and some of our Primary partnership schools to ensure that every child receives an appropriate education for their needs.
The main purpose of the role will be to promote the welfare of all children and ensure that this is supported by parents and carers fulfilling their duties in accordance with school attendance legislation; To support schools in developing strategies to improve attendance and reduce persistent absence and to work with other agencies and stakeholders to support attendance and reduce absence.
The ideal candidate will have equivalent NVQ3 level qualification plus relevant experience or able to demonstrate related experience identified through close reference to job description and person spec.
