We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take the school from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ attendance.
Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School is a very large primary school with over 700 pupils. The school has changed significantly over the last few years as it has undergone a period of rapid improvement. We became an academy with the Transform Multi-Academy Trust in January 2015, a new Head Teacher took up post in April 2016 and in September 2016 a new staffing structure was implemented allowing bespoke support for staff and children. Our Ofsted report in November 2017 confirmed the rapid progress the school has made; stating our overall effectiveness as good and within this, Effectiveness of Leadership and Management and Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare of Pupils are Outstanding. We have a large and ever-increasing multitude of enthusiastic and committed staff who will welcome you to the team.
We have a primary focus on ensuring the highest possible standards of teaching and learning for our pupils, and in order for our pupils to achieve their full potential we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take our school from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ attendance.
To achieve that aim a robust attendance improvement programme is already established and the governors are seeking the right candidate to take this programme and develop it to meet the needs of a growing school on a permanent term-time only contract working 37 hours per week.
The advertised salary will be pro-rated for term time only working. The actual salary will therefore range between £18,487 - £21,909.
- Be committed to providing a dynamic, enthusiastic and relentless approach to raising the profile of attendance within school and the local community.
- Be willing to engage with families within their own homes as well as in school.
- Be highly motivated working individually as well as being a team player.
- Have the highest standards in compiling casework and documenting evidence.
- Have energy, imagination and a sense of humour.
Visits to our school are warmly welcomed and candidates wishing to visit the school beforehand should telephone school or email to make an appointment.
