Salary £29746 to £35040 depending on experience
Location: Denmark Road, Carshalton
To grow traded work offering support, advice and interventions for children and young people across the primary and secondary sector who are experiencing difficulties that may include behavioural/emotional regulation, social communication, attention and concentration, anxiety and sensory differences. As an autism practitioner you will provide support and advice to parents, carers, young people and schools in a variety of settings that may include school, at home, or in the community.
The role is part of a multi-disciplinary team who provide bespoke packages that take a holistic view in supporting the individual’s need.
This role is ideal for an experienced and confident Autism specialist with proven experience of working with children and young people with social communication difficulties, or who have a diagnosis of Autism. You must be able to work independently and on own initiative and be willing to undertake any necessary training required for the role.
The team provides a holistic identification and intervention support for children and young people referred, with the aim of implementing support and strategies
