Behaviour Support Assistant
Parkland Primary School
Grade 5 (£18,933 -£19,314 pro rata)
25hrs per week, 38 weeks per year
Monday - Friday 8.30am-1.30pm
8th February 2021 until 22 August 2021
We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Behaviour Support Assistant who will be committed to providing quality care and education support and promoting the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development to each individual child to meet their needs. The role is to support KS2 pupils through behaviour and social skills interventions with individuals or small groups.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
- NVQ 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent
- Experience of supporting teaching and learning in a formal setting
- Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures
- Good interpersonal skills
- Empathy with children and young people
