We are seeking an experienced Biology teacher who can deliver high quality learning opportunities to students at IGCSE and A level. The students undertake external examinations through AXA and Edexcel. Possibility of HOD for the right candidate.
Start Date: January 2022 or ideally sooner. The ability to offer another subject area would be an advantage.
Successful applicants will have:
-Exceptional subject knowledge
-Experience of working within a high performing teaching team
-Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level or equivalent in English
-A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
-A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree)
Teaching candidates should ideally have a minimum of two years' experience in teaching the National Curriculum, and a willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities. Applications from single candidates and teaching couples are particularly welcomed. Combinations of subjects are also welcome for secondary applicants.
