Business and Travel & Tourism Lecturer/Teacher
Salary: £27,786 - £37,833 pa pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to teach across a range of courses including BTEC First Nationals in Travel & Tourism and Business. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic part time member of staff to further develop the Travel & Tourism and Business teams. We have a diverse team of lecturers who are able to offer a range of subject specialities and we are seeking to enhance this range with this appointment.
It is essential that you hold a full Level 5 Teaching qualification or be on a teaching programme together with a recent degree in Business/Travel & Tourism or related subjects. We would also consider candidates who have the equivalent industry specific qualifications. You are required to hold a minimum of a Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT.
We expect you to have an indepth knowledge of the subject specialism to teach on Level 1 to 4 qualifications. You should also have knowledge and understanding of course work requirements and assessment including acting as a BTEC Lead IV.

Please note an enhanced DBS will be required for this role. The successful candidate is required to meet the payment of this DBS check which is currently £40.
On appointment, you will be placed at the salary point aligned to a number of factors which include, but are not limited to, qualifications, previous relevant experience, current salary and market forces.
