An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as our Business Branding & Skills Advisor in The Learning Shop at Bluewater, part of North Kent College. This rewarding role plays a key part in supporting the local community and our nationally recognised brand.
Salary: £21,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum
The role of Business Branding & Skills Advisor requires a dynamic, self-motivated and business-minded individual to work within The Learning Shop team. The role focuses on two key aspects; the growth of The Learning Shop brand and customer base through its website and social media channels, and the delivery of interventions to clients aspiring to a career in the retail and hospitality sectors, whether on a one to one basis or in small groups.
It is essential that you can build strong working relationships with the mixed-ability individuals you will be supporting. Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is essential for this role. Also a background in management and/or recruitment would be beneficial.
An understanding of Social Media Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn is required with experience with Wordpress also being useful. Software we use includes; Photoshop, InDesign and Google Listings.
