Business Development Account Manager
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill) with some travel to John Ruskin College (Selsdon)
Salary: Competitive (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, driven and successful Business Development Account Manager to join our Employer Services department.
In this exciting role you will work across various College departments to grow, build and develop sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships with employers and contribute to the successful promotion and development of the College apprenticeship offer.
You will make contact with local and nationwide businesses, meet with employer decision-makers to undertake training needs and recommend provision that contribute to providing solutions to their needs/growth plans, keep full and up to date records of businesses whilst also working across College departments to ensure current knowledge of full College courses.
The successful candidate must have:
- A full, clean driving license and be willing to use their car for work purposes
- Commercial experience working with businesses within the Croydon area
- Proven experience in growing revenue or sales
- Experience working within Financial or Business sectors
Suitable candidates will also have excellent communication and influencing skills, along with demonstrable effective sales skills (including lead generation and conversion, delivering against stretching financial and non-financial targets).
