Chipping Campden School seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Development Assistant to join the Development Office. The School established the Development Office three years ago and is responsible for alumni and community engagement, fundraising and marketing.
The Development Office is pivotal in the planning and execution of the School’s first major capital campaign to build a Performance Arts Centre. In addition to this exciting project, the Development Office produces the School’s annual publications including The Campdonian and two prospectuses. Many other ad hoc tasks are taken on by this busy and vibrant office as required.
The successful candidate will support the Development Officer with fundraising and in making and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, both within the School and community, to encourage lifelong engagement with the School. Specific responsibilities include:
- day to day processing of donations
- co-ordinating fundraising events,
- alumni research
- database maintenance
- departmental administration.
The successful candidate will be goal orientated, able to multi-task and be open to working on new and different projects. They will play a vital role in shaping future development activity, community and alumni relations at CCS.
This position is on a fixed term, term time contract for 18 months in the first instance with working hours of 20 per week, hours and pattern of working negotiable. Salary grade 5: £21,166 FTE – c. £9,525 p.a (pro-rata equivalent salary for 20 hours, term time)
