Based at our Brooksby Campus (though travel to all campuses will be required)
The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at SMB College Group for a Careers, Work Experience and Destinations Manager within the Employer Engagement Team.
Working in this role you will required to implement and lead a college wide strategy for developing and delivering a work experience and careers programme that meets all eight of the Gatsby benchmarks of good practice and prepares students for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.
The role also includes the development, implementation and promotion of the Employer Skills Forums and Employer Academies at SMB with local, regional and national employers, leading to an increased volume in work placement provision, career insight and progression to employment.
