The Governors are seeking to appoint a caretaker.
As Caretaker you must be reliable, flexible and adaptable to the needs of the school.
The working hours will be split-shifts (7.00am – 10.30am and 2.30pm – 6.00pm Mon – Thurs, 7.00am – 6.30pm Fri) You will be required to work during school holidays.
We are looking for a Caretaker who is hardworking; a background working in building and maintenance positions would be beneficial to the role. All applicants must have an excellent practical knowledge and an awareness of health and safety, as you will be required to work independently, overseeing the daily maintenance and upkeep of the premises.
Duties will include: • Key-holding • Opening & closing the premises • Setting and maintaining alarm systems • Maintenance and repairs • Painting and decorating • Cleaning duties, emptying bins and litter picking • Organising external contractors for work.
