Hours: 17 hours 30 Minutes per week, term time only plus 2 weeks (3pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday)
Salary: Hay 12 (£8,061 per annum)
St Peter’s Anglican Methodist Primary is located in the village of Pilning, South Gloucestershire. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our friendly team to carry out duties to ensure the premises are safe and well maintained at all times. The role will include responsibility for the site security, including the locking up of the buildings, carrying out statutory Health & Safety checks and general maintenance and repairs.
The successful candidate will be:
Able to display a conscientious and logical approach to the variety of tasks necessary for the smooth running of the school
Flexible, adaptable & able to prioritise their work as well as consistently demonstrating a high standard of conduct as a positive role model to pupils
Competent at building repairs and maintenance work
Trustworthy and honest
Competent using basic IT programmes
Show a commitment to their own professional development by attending/completing all relevant training
Willing to work out of hours occasionally
Enthusiastic & highly motivated
Committed to making a positive difference to the school community
Able to adhere to the school’s policies and procedures including Safeguarding/Child Protection and all H&S related policies
