Ladywood School is a primary special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. There are currently 177 pupils on roll. Ladywood is designated as a National Teaching School and is commissioned by Bolton LA to offer an Outreach Service to all mainstream schools.
Ladywood has been judged as an outstanding school by OFSTED on 3 consecutive occasions, most recently in January 2016.

Ladywood is a proud member of Woodbridge Trust, which is a local partnership with Firwood School and Woodbridge College. We were awarded Bolton News ‘Primary School of the Year 2018’ and the Nasen award for ‘Co-production with Children and Young people and their Families’ in 2019.
Trustees are looking to appoint a reliable and self-motivated Caretaker to work with our Site Manager to maintain both our Little Ladywood site located on Lever Edge Lane, Bolton and our main Ladywood site on Masefield Road, Little Lever. The post involves key holding, maintaining the school site and building, health and safety, cleaning and the ability to offer a range of DIY skills.
