Our Governors are looking to appoint a caretaker, who is committed to developing, improving and maintaining the school learning environments.
You will work alongside the Site Manager, with responsibility for the security, health & safety and cleanliness of the school premises, assisting with planned maintenance and day to day repairs.
Hours of work are: Part time 25 hours per week, all year round, 1.00pm – 6.00pm
Rosehill School is a maintained special school situated on St Matthias Road, St Ann’s in the city of Nottingham. We provide day education for children and young people aged 4 – 19 with autism whose learning challenges are best served in a special school setting.
Following our Outstanding Ofsted in November 2017, we continue to be a successful school for children and young people with autism. We endeavour to embrace every possible opportunity to enrich communication development enabling pupils to achieve their full academic and social potential in preparing them for adult life. We teach our broad, balance and creative curriculum within a stimulating and enabling environment.
The role will primarily involve working an afternoon shift, which will involve locking and security the school site at the end of the day. There is also a requirement that the successful candidate will need to be flexible regarding start and finish times, and the possibility of split shifts to cover absences within the premises staff, or in conjunction with the hire of the school’s facilities.
