Casual Cover Supervisors
The rate of pay will be Grade 5 (£12.96ph)
(The post holder will be employed as Grade 5, Term Time Only)
The Governors of Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is seeking to appoint a number of casual Cover Supervisors to cover the absences of teaching staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for Cover Supervisors to work in all areas of the school and may suit suitably qualified individuals who are looking to get experience of work within a school with a view to applying to go into Teaching or Teaching Assistant roles.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to provide effective cover supervision in a range of classes and subjects in response to short term teacher and teaching assistant absence, ensuring good order is maintained in the classroom and keep pupils on task. Candidates must be suitable to work with children and young people and able to supervise whole classes.
The College encourages applications from those of the Catholic faith, but it is not a barrier to appointment if candidates do not have that faith background provided they support the ethos of the College. We are extremely proud of our ethos which comes in very large part from our Jesuit Associate School membership and Catholic Diocesan heritage. This teaches us to be grateful for the gift of teaching that we have and to be generous in using it for the good of our pupils.
Closing date for applications is Monday, 6th February 2023 at 9 am
The College reserves the right to close this post prior to the published deadline should it receive sufficient applications to pull together a good field of candidates. We therefore encourage candidates to submit early applications.
We do not accept applications via CV’s or from recruitment agencies.
We welcome further discussions about the post and these can be conducted using a variety of online platforms or by telephone. Please contact us to discuss this if it will be helpful to you.
