Cathays High School is seeking to appoint a full-time Chemistry teacher from 1st September 2022 (or sooner, depending on the circumstances of the successful candidate). The successful candidate will also teach Science at KS3. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. The role will be for one year in the first instance.
The school requires an excellent teacher to join a very strong team to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of our students. You will need to use assessment information and proven pedagogical methods to plan for the progress and achievement of all young people in your classes.
You will assist in the development of an appropriate syllabus, resources and schemes of work, and assist the Raising Standards Leader and the SLT to ensure that Science lessons help to deliver the school’s strategic objectives.
