We are looking to recruit a Sessional Assessor with a specialism in Childcare.
Your duties will include conducting practical assessments, monitoring and tracking progress, training and assessing and delivering the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification within the workplace.
Successful candidates will have direct industry experience in the relevant field and hold a relevant qualification at a minimum of Level 3. It is essential that you hold the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and desirable for you to also hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (if old qualifications are held (e.g. A1 or V1) it is essential that you are willing to update to the new standards). A PTTLS qualification or equivalent would also be desirable.
You will have a passion for high standards, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good time management and proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners.
This role will involve travelling to local businesses therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving license and are willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes.
