We teach humans, not robots.
Due to a maternity leave, we’re in the lucky position of recruiting a part time SENDCo with the human touch to help our children achieve their best.
At Greenhill, we know that one size does not fit all; we know that children come to school from a whole range of environments; we know that adults (parents, carers, staff) come to school with different experiences; we know that there isn’t one way to be, one way to learn, one way to teach; and we know that working at our school is rewarding, fun and challenging.
So we value relationships, team support and continuously trying to be a little better every day.
We can offer you a strong range of support within school and as part of our Cluster and Family of Schools; a staff who help each other and give 100%; a positive approach to solving difficult challenges and children who want to succeed.
So if you’re looking for the next step in your career, have an ability to develop our team, have had success in working with other agencies and value helping humans to succeed.
The job: we want to recruit the best person so we are prepared to be flexible. Our current SENDCo is a member of our SLT, teaches class two days a week, and has three days a week release time. For the right candidate, we can offer a more flexible SENDCo role, which will NOT include any teaching commitment.
The role is for a part time SENDCo temporary for at least a year. We are happy to talk about our future plans to the right candidate!
