We are seeking to appoint two excellent, ambitious and inspirational teachers to join our school team.
One teacher will be based in EYFS/Year1 and the other teacher in Year 3/4. The teachers will be non-class based and will support children to catch up in the Maths and English that they have missed during COVID-19 lockdown. Funding for these posts is provided from the Government COVID-19 Catch-up premium.
As part of our team, you will be committed to enabling the children to achieve as well as they can in Maths and English, giving them the best start in life. You will be responsible for providing outstanding care and provision, enabling the children to catch up to where they should be by the end of this academic year.
You will work closely with our current teachers to develop schemes of work to meet the needs of the children.
Our school is:
• An energetic and imaginative place where children are well behaved and share a love for learning.
• A forward looking Academy where an emphasis is placed on fostering awe and wonder in education.
• A place that embraces technology and delivers an exciting and aspirational curriculum that is aimed at preparing our children for success and employment in the modern world.
• A place where all staff are hard-working and ensure the Academy’s success through constantly striving to discover innovative teaching methods and demanding the best from our children and ourselves.
If you feel like you would thrive in this environment and would like to help shape the future generation of South Manchester, we would love to hear from you.
Closing date: Monday 5th October
