Chagford Primary School is delighted to be a member of a group of 3 schools, known as The Three Hares Primary Schools within The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust (DMAT), which is made up of 3 secondary and 13 primary schools. ‘The Three Hares’ work closely together under the leadership of the Executive Headteacher and three Heads of School. This enables the staff and children to enjoy being within their unique rural settings whilst maximising the benefits of sharing talent, opportunities and experience across the Three Hares Primary Schools.
The successful candidate will be appointed at Chagford Church of England Primary, which is at the heart of its beautiful village, with stunning views of Dartmoor. The children and staff of the school moved into their new building in September 2018, with the site of the old school now landscaped into a brand new sports field. This is an exciting new era for Chagford CE Primary, as we embrace opportunities for collaboration within the Three Hares Primary Schools, and develop innovative practice and creative thinking to drive forward this popular school. Our enduring aim is for children to continue their journey through school, enjoying vibrant and memorable learning. This post will be suited to a teacher with the creativity, passion and skills required to build on existing successes and support the new leadership of the school in moving the school forward.

This post is based at Chagford C of E Primary School, however, you may be required to work across all of our Trust schools, as directed.
