We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, creative and resilient practitioner who will play an integral part in the development of our school, with some flexibility to work across KS3 and KS4.
Pivot Academy Leeds East, Killingbeck, is a 35 place provision for KS3 and 4 students who are unable to access mainstream education at this time, due to their Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMHD). We work alongside parents, agencies and referring schools to ensure that the children have clear targets. Our primary aim is to ensure that all pupils achieve measured outcomes and are attending school.
The postholder will be required to lead and coordinate the delivery of a subject or subjects across the school and promote and engage with students in this subject area/s. Working with the team of teaching staff, support staff and behaviour mentors, you will assist across all aspects of the curriculum to promote a healthy and supportive working environment. Committed to delivering highest quality education and with experience of working with SEND, you will help us achieve the highest of standards and continue to deliver the best for our students.
As an organisation, we offer excellent benefits, work/life balance, CPD and progression support and development. We promote diversity and inclusion and want to have a workforce which reflects the population of ours schools and areas, therefore we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
