TWO CLASS TEACHER 1.0 FTE & 0.6FTE (MPS 1 to 6)
FIXED TERM CONTRACT TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE
Start 1st SEPTEMBER 2021(or possibly sooner)
We are looking to recruit two passionate and committed Class Teachers to join our outstanding school.
The posts are fixed term to cover maternity leave, and are due to start 21 June 2021. Please note: This start date is based on current Government shielding guidance relating to staff that are pregnant from 28 weeks onwards. If this guidance changes the start date for the posts may be put back to September 2021.

Gillshill is a large, over-subscribed Primary School, with an age range of 3 – 11 years comprising of a two-form entry (60 pupils). We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, hard-working, committed practitioner who will provide a high quality education for the pupils in their care.
Staff work collaboratively and planning, assessments and resources are shared so that new staff (including newly qualified) are well supported within our hardworking teaching teams. All classes are supported by highly skilled classroom Teaching Assistants.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
This post is suitable for a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher seeking a change of experience, age range is negotiable. All our school staff are totally committed to providing extra-curricular activities and educational visits beyond the school day.
The successful applicant will be expected to work in Gillshill Primary School; however, there could be opportunities to work across the Trust.

Furthermore, for any candidates shortlisted any relevant issues arising from your references will be taken up at interview, unless we are not able to do so, as the reference from your employer has been given on the basis that it is confidential.
