The River Centre 3-16 Learning Community has a philosophy of flexibility, inclusion, pupil focused and delivering success for all. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed teacher to join our successful School that provides a broad, balanced and expertly differentiated curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. The successful applicant will be required to provide a high level of pastoral support for pupils ranging in age from Foundation Phase to Y11. The applicant will also be expected to take up a Senior Curriculum Coordinator role for either Health and Wellbeing or Digital Leader and Innovation. The applicant will receive expert support and guidance from an experienced and established team.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner and will be able to demonstrate both their passion for learning and their ability to lead and inspire our learners. A willingness and ability to be a flexible teacher and teach a range of subjects to the learners will be a strong advantage.
In addition, the successful applicants will be able to:
• Create an inspirational learning environment with high expectations of learner achievement, success and progression
• Demonstrate a high level of organisational and ICT skills
• Build effective and supporting relationships with learners, parents and colleagues
