Salary range, M1-M6 – £26,948 - £38,174 (inclusive of LW)
A SEN allowance 2 is also payable for the post at £4,479 per annum

Littledown School is a small (38 place) special school and (19 place) alternative provision for primary aged pupils (4-11yrs) with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Part of the school’s remit is to develop a continuum of provision and support for primary-aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties across the local authority
Our most recent section 5 Ofsted report (February 2020) states that:
Staff have high expectations of every pupil. In lessons, pupils work hard and listen carefully to the teacher.
We are looking to appoint a confident, dynamic and enthusiastic class teacher to join our highly dedicated staff team. The prospective candidate should ideally have experience of working with children who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties, preferably in a special school environment. They should also be passionate about teaching to achieve excellence in education in a challenging but extremely rewarding environment.
The role will be to teach and be responsible for the planning, organisation, delivery and assessment of the Primary Curriculum in Key Stages 1 and 2.
