Melbury College is a partnership that includes the Melrose School, Canterbury Campus, the Merton Medical Education Service and the Merton Alternative Education Service. The Merton Medical Education Service provides short-term education for school age students who are medically unable to attend their mainstream school.
The Executive Headteacher and Governing body are currently seeking to employ Teachers/ Tutors to support our students on role at our Medical Education Service who are of secondary school age. This role requires travelling to students homes or local libraries when they are too ill to attend classes at the College, and there may also be a requirement to deliver some lessons to small groups onsite.
We are looking for teachers who can teach secondary core subjects (English, Maths, Science) preferably with QTS. We are happy to consider applicants who can evidence experience of teaching to that level but who do not hold QTS status.
Due to the continuous changes and requirement for tuition, this is a casual contract.
