Our friendly village school has a vacancy for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team
Thorpe C of E Primary School is looking for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant. This is a permanent, term time only, position providing support in KS2 for 24.5 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 08.45 to 13.30, Tuesday and Thursday from 08.45 - 15.00.
Included within these hours is a requirement to cover lunch time duty with the children in KS2.

The successful candidate will:
• nurture and support pupils’ emotional and developmental needs
• have high expectations for children’s behaviour
• be committed to supporting children’s learning
• be willing to undertake training if needed
• be willing to administer first aid and provide medical attention where necessary - training will be given
• be adaptable, cheerful and willing to work as part of a team
