We are looking for a Clerk for our Federation Governing Body
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our fantastic Nursery School team.
The main purpose of the role is to provide advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters. The new regulations require governing bodies to have regard to advice from the clerk in regards to exercising the governing body functions:
• Provide effective and proactive administrative support to the governing body and its committees.
• Ensure the governing body is properly constituted.
• Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.
• Attend the full governing body meetings 6 times per year.
The clerk to the governing body is accountable to the governing body and will need to work closely with the chair of governors, vice-chair of governors, and headteacher.

The role involves preparation for and attendance at the Full Governing Body meetings, preparation of minutes and managing the flow of information and documents uploaded to Governor Hub.
Salary is paid monthly, and is for 112 hours per year (2.5 hours per week, term time only)
Support for the role is available from the Governor Development Service at Bristol City Council
