The EPOSS Cluster was established in 2006 and successfully brings together partners from a range of different agencies, including Children’s Centres, schools, voluntary / community / faith representatives, Police, Health, Social Care and the Local Authority in the Wetherby and Boston Spa area of North East Leeds. The Cluster provides a range of services to meet the needs of children, young people and families, including an extended programme of activities in school holidays.
The Cluster Leadership Group is now seeking to appoint a Cluster Leader to join the team in order to lead the day to day work of the Cluster and support the Cluster Chair in developing processes and strengthening governance arrangements within the Cluster as well as maximising the partnership by identifying new opportunities for cross-sector work. The role will also include some project development work based around support for young people and their families and identifying sources of funding to support Cluster priorities and also to undertake direct work with Children/Young People and their families.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who has the ambition and drive to meet deadlines and targets. They will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills, effective interpersonal skills at all levels; experience of working in partnership with others and team management; and managing budgets.
This is an exciting and interesting position that involves developing and driving a varied programme of activities that provide effective support to children, families and communities. The post holder will be required to undertake a number of roles including contributing to the development of plans, marketing and promotional activities, implementing and managing projects, monitoring and managing expenditure and preparing reports and information.
