Humber Education Trust and Ganton School are looking to appoint a Community Safeguarding Coordinator. This role will include being the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Child Protection Coordinator for Ganton School, as well as leading on pupil Emotional Wellbeing (ELSA) and Family Learning support.
Working closely with Senior Leaders and all staff within the school, the successful candidate will need to be extremely professional, resilient, empathetic and flexible in their approach. They will need to keep up to date with all Safeguarding legislation and guidance and will represent the school at a range of Safeguarding, Child Protection and other meetings throughout the local area. They must be a highly effective and efficient communicator and be able to produce and present reports, interpret data and lead on training to range of professionals.
Relevant safeguarding and/or child protection qualification or experience is essential, as is familiarity of supporting the Emotional Wellbeing of families, children, young people and vulnerable adults. However, further training will be available for the suitable applicant
