Computer Science Prep Lead

Loughborough Schools Foundation is recruiting for a Computer Science Prep Lead to steer the prep curriculum across Fairfield, Amherst and Loughborough Grammar School. The purpose of the role is to establish a vision for the Computer Science curriculum across our prep schools, leading and developing the subject to enhance teaching and learning in our prep schools.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in delivering computing at primary level, who understands educational application of ICT from EYFS through to Year 6 and is up-to-date with the latest national developments. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who has the ability to promote effective teaching, a culture of sharing and mutual support between teachers.
Keeping up to date with national curriculum developments in Computing, the successful candidate will be able to develop prep programmes of study, construct and monitor schemes of work. They will utilise national, local and school data effectively to identify underachieving pupils in the subject and be able to create and implement action plans to support those pupils.
