Training is both local and/or delivered through our excellent stand-alone training facility at the CLF Institute. For teachers, the CLF Institute aims to provide a continuum of development through each career stage from initial teacher training (ITT), for newly qualified teachers (NQT), recently qualified teachers in their early career development, to successive stages of leadership through to Headship and beyond.
What we are looking for:
We look for passionate individuals who want to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation and chosen Academy. You will be used to planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons, will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach KS3 - KS4. We look for professionals who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour. We would welcome applications from NQT or experienced staff. There may be opportunities for TLR responsibilities depending on experience.

About the Academy & Cabot Learning Federation
The Cabot Learning Federation is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. We currently are sponsoring academies in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Weston-Super-Mare; six secondary, eight primary, one all-through academy and a Studio School. The Federation also has an overarching CLF Post 16 and specialist inclusion centres. Together we educate over 9000 children between the ages of 3 and 19 and the Federation is a major Teaching School in the South West.
King’s Oak Academy is a rapidly expanding all-through 4 to 16 academy based in Kingswood, Bristol. There are currently five year groups in our primary phase – Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 – with Year 7 through to Year 11 in our secondary phase. The children are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community. King’s Oak Academy supports a hugely positive and supporting learning environment for all.
