We are seeking an experienced Tutor to teach on our Level 4 Counselling course on a Tuesday daytime.
As a Part-time Tutor, you will join our bank of teaching staff and will be offered course, as and when, that match your area of expertise. Part-time Tutors work closely with Programme Managers in designing, planning and delivering courses which stretch and challenge our learners, as well as preparing a variety of learning materials, providing guidance to learners on progression options, attending termly meetings and completing course administration relating to Internal Quality Assurance.
The successful candidate will be a BACP accredited member. Candidates will be undergoing continual professional development as per the BACP requirements, and also will be educated to Diploma level in Counselling, with significant post qualification experience including supervision.
Applicants should have experience of agency work as well as private practice.
In addition to counselling experience and qualifications, applicants should hold a minimum adult teaching qualification (Education & Training Level 3) and delivered Counselling courses, preferably CPCAB courses.
In addition, applicants should have experience of assessing work in line with Internal Quality Assurance processes. Applicants should hold qualifications in Assessing and Internal Quality Assurance.
Applicants should be familiar with the integrative model of theory as well as other models such as Freud and Rogers.
